Great place to relax off the strip in LV.\u00a0 We stayed here 11 \u2013 18 February, 2015.<\/p>\n
We enjoy going to Tahiti Village (TVV) in Las Vegas. Granted we own there so that makes my review kind of slanted. Since last time we were here they have revamped Tahiti Joes and the convenience store. We rented a Prius, yes a Prius, and maybe used a half a tank of gas our entire time there. We visited Red Rock Canyon; which is a must if you are going to Vegas for a visit.<\/p>\n
Unit:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n We stayed in the smaller 1BR lock-out. It had a kitchenette vice a full-fledged kitchen; but it worked for our needs. The room was very comfortable and worked well. I tend to spend a lot of time in the room; I usually work on the road, and this was a working vacation for me, and there was adequate space to have my work spread out without impeding our vacation.<\/p>\n Resort:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n The staff was very friendly and responsive; in short, they were terrific. The resort is comfortable and stress free. Biggest decision I had to make was whether to get the big beer or small one. The resort has undergone some renovation since last time we were here, all of which are for the better.<\/p>\n They have improved the grilling areas, free Wi-Fi in the rooms, better convenience store, Tahiti Joes is a fun caf\u00e9\/bar to visit now. There was no \u201cactivity fee\u201d this time, which was nice.<\/p>\n We did do the presentation; I’m used to them and don’t think they are too high pressure. If you’re straight up with them – we’ve had good success.<\/p>\n My wife was recalled back to Virginia for work, so her vacation got cut short. I had a couple of days left, so I visited the Air Force Base there. They have a small museum dedicated to the Thunderbird air demonstration team. If you can get on base, I highly recommend taking a moment out of your schedule; you won’t be sorry.<\/p>\n I highly recommend TVV.<\/p>\n
