As you all know; I like to travel, a lot!\u00a0 I was thinking about purchasing an RV when I retire (RV or Timeshare; that is the question<\/a>), but after having a discussion with my father, thought better of that idea.\u00a0 He proposed the idea that since I like timesharing; why not try that full time.\u00a0 You know; his idea is worth investigating.<\/p>\n

Being the anal retentive individual I am, I have modified a really nice spreadsheet by Mike Lynn.<\/a> The spreadsheet is intended for project management, but I’m using it as a baseline for my Times Share Journey.\u00a0 At some point in the future; I’ll post the spreadsheet for your viewing pleasure.<\/p>\n

My goal is to simulate living full time in a Timeshare, my budget for lodging, timeshare fees and repositioning costs ($0.55\/mile) is $15,000 (simulated of course!).\u00a0 With no further ado, let’s get started:<\/p>\n

Our journey is scheduled to begin on April 7th, 2013.\u00a0 We are beginning our journey in Virginia Beach, VA.\u00a0 We will depart for Williamsburg, VA on 4\/7\/2013.<\/p>\n

4\/7\/2013 – 5\/5\/2013: All four weeks are at RCI#1141.\u00a0 A nice long visit to start and test the waters.<\/p>\n

\nTS Fees: $766\/year *This info will not be repeated as they are yearly fees, but I wanted to account for them.
