Good morning boys and girls. Last weekend saw the boss lady and I in Atlantic City, NJ. We stayed at the Wyndham Skyline Tower, near the Resorts Casino. I was talking to my one and only faithful ready; yep, my cat. Anyway, he said I should write a review of this timeshare, and should start reviewing them on my blog since I write a review of them on the Timeshare Users Group anyway. So here goes…
We rented a one bedroom and the room was very comfortable. There were LCD TVs in the living area and the bedroom. The kitchen was well stocked, and everything worked well. The couch was OK, not overly great; but comfortable. There are planned activities each day, but we didn’t participate in any of them as we were out at the casinos and boardwalk each day. The 6th floor is dedicated to the amenities; once again, we didn’t visit the pool or anything down there. The resort has free Wi-Fi throughout, which is nice, and it worked well – except for some reason in the sales area of the 6th floor.
The only problem we had was the elevators, waiting for over 20 minutes Sunday morning; frustrating, but understandable. We did not need to call maintenance for anything, the room was very functionable and everything worked well.
The staff was very nice and friendly, even the sales folks were nice. Check in was a breeze, very efficient and the valet brought our entire luggage to our room. Check out was easy as pie. Called the Valet, they came up, picked up our bags (packed out the car too), the counter agent was fast and efficient. We participated in the sales presentation, I mean the owners update; but the young lady was very nice, and once she understood that we were very happy with our current ownership and didn’t want to add to it; we were “released.” The group update was 45 minutes, just as advertised, and the time spent with the young lady (which is always nice) was 30 minutes. We had pleasant conversation, and she never once pushed us beyond our comfort level.
Once here, you don’t need to drive anywhere. We left our car parked for the four days we were here. Wyndham is right across the street from Resorts, and once inside you can walk without going outside to Trump and the Showboat, then you can pop outside and in a matter of minutes be at the new Revel. The Atlantic City boardwalk is right in front of the casinos, and is a whole reason to come here all in itself. The only extra fee we were charged was the $10.00 / day parking fee. The resort is very suitable for families and couples looking to be near, but not consumed with the rush of a casino. The rooms were very relaxing after a day of walking the boardwalk and being inside the noisy casinos.
We will stay here again!
