Great Location to visit Colonial Williamsburg. We stayed there in March, 2014.
My daughter and I used up what was left of a trial Bluegreen membership here (most of the points were used to visit SeaGlass towers). This resort is not to appealing at first glance. There was a lot of construction going on, and it just wasn’t visually appealing – it looked like a remodeled hotel.
Unit:
The unit was a very spacious 2BR. Bluegreen units not quite the quality of Wyndham units in my opinion. There was the modern, full kitchen. The unit was spacious and very comfortable.
Resort:
Not much to talk about here, the staff were fantastic. The resort itself was…ok. The best thing, and in my opinion the most important thing was it was within walking distance to Colonial Williamsburg; which was the reason for our trip.
If you haven’t visited the historic triangle of Virginia, I really encourage you to do so:
- Jamestowne, the first permanent settlement by the English in 1607.
- Colonial Williamsburg – the colonial capital of America.
- Yorktown – the end of colony life and the beginning of a nation.
Overall, if we want to go to Colonial Williamsburg, I’d stay there again.
