Next to me was a nice elderly couple, talking to another couple in German. Next to them was a nice family conversing in Korean, and finally a Chinese family enjoying a little continental breakfast.
How cool is that? Here we are in a motel in a small SC town, and at least four different cultures were interacting with no problems. It Is at this point I’d usually make a political reference; but that would detract from the joy of the season.
I love this country!!
