A co-worker of mine gave me this simple, yet great crock pot recipe. This makes a great dinner dish or a dip. She calls it Mexican Chicken and I believe it came from a Facebook page. I keep losing it, so decided to archive here. Anyway…here is the recipe:
Ingredients:
- Frozen Chicken Breasts (4 – 6)
- Frozen corn – large package
- Salse Verde – 1 bottle/can
- Taco seasoning – 1 package
- Black beans – 2 or 3 cans
- Cream Cheese – 1 brick
Actions:
- Place all ingredients except the cream cheese in the crockpot.
- Cooktime: Cook on High for 4 hours, or
cook on low for 7 hours (tastes better).
— Mix occasionally — - Place cream cheese into mix; cook an additional 1/2 hour.
